Is Telecalls really free?
Telecalls is free if your UK phone plan includes calls to UK 0870 numbers. When you call our UK 0870 access number, it uses the minutes included in your call plan. For many customers on unlimited minute plans, this means international calls at no extra cost.
If your plan doesn’t include 0870 calls, or you’ve used all your included 0870 minutes, call rates from your provider will apply. For BT the cost is 13p per minute plus your service provider’s access charge. For non-BT users, check your phone provider plan’s terms to see what charges are included.
Fair Usage limits
Many UK phone plans have fair usage policies that apply to all calls, including those made through Telecalls. These limits are set by your phone provider, not by us. Most standard personal use falls well within these limits. If you’re planning heavy business use or extended daily calling, we recommend checking your provider’s fair usage policy first.
