Can I really make international calls using my inclusive minutes?

Yes, some of the major UK telecom providers such as BT, SKY, Virgin Media and others include calls to 0870 minutes in some of their call plans at certain times of day. See our homepage for details.

How does the service work?

First of all, check that your call plan comes with inclusive 0870 minutes.

N.B. We recommend that you also check what times of day you are able to call 0870 numbers from your inclusive minutes. For example, some call plans have inclusive minutes to 0870 numbers all day. Others have inclusive minutes to 0870 numbers on Evenings and Weekends. Still others have inclusive minutes to 0870 numbers on Weekends only.

Once you have confirmed that you do have inclusive minutes to 0870 numbers and what time of day this applies just do the following:

Step 1: Dial 0870 494 0956

Step 2: Enter your full destination number followed by #

Calls to 0870 numbers cost 13p plus providers access charge or can be made from your inclusive 0870 minutes.

That’s it, you can enjoy free international calls from your inclusive call minutes now!

N.B. – Most landline providers charge for inclusive calls which are longer than 60 minutes, that’s for any numbers not just the 0870 numbers. If you are making a long call please hang up after 59 minutes and re-dial. Do not exceed 1000 minutes per month or 100 calls per month as your provider may charge you if you exceed those limits. We cannot accept liability for any charge incurred while using this service. This service is provided in good faith, however if the operators exclude or start charging these numbers then this service will be terminated without notice.

How can I check whether I will be charged for calling 0870 numbers?

We recommend that you check your call provider’s call plan terms before making a call.

Alternatively, you can check whether or not calls to 0870 numbers will be charged by your provider, by simply making a short call (for less than a minute). Then check on your online bill details/breakdown to make sure that your 0870 call package minutes are inclusive.
